Dive Diary Dive News - The Koh Tao IDC Group Saturday, January 21, 2006 Yesterday local businesses congratulated Bans Diving Resort for achieving the highest level of all divecenters in the world. *PADI upgraded Ban's to 5-Star Career Development Center (the third in Thailand and one of the few in the world who achieved this rating). We are very proud of this rating due to that we been working hard trying to upgrade both hardware, like the resort, two new pools, new boats, and the software, all the staffs education and upkeeping of the highest standard. 9 years in making and now we reached another goal of ours! Thanks to all local businesses supporting us in our effort. Jonas Samuelsson, Bans (5-Star Career Development Center!!!) Diving Resort... RECORD 2005... According on an unofficial source Ban's Diving Resort became the largest divecenter in Asia Pacific based on numbers of certified students!!! 3 students of Bans Diving accepted for Course Director Training Course (almost 10% of the candidates accepted from all over the world!!!) Bans accepted as Career Development Center 100% passrate on the instructor exam for all bans diving and koh tao idc groups candidates 58% of all open water students continue to the padi advanced course 6700 PADI Certifications during 2005 plus all the fun parties, dinners etc... what a year............................... thanks to all of you supporting us...
