Dive Diary Dive News - The Koh Tao IDC Group Saturday, December 09, 2006 Whalesharks on koh tao during instructor training... Went out to mango bay on the first dive this morning and completed this idc groups third and fourth idc presentation in open water. After debriefing we decided to change divesite because of the visibility and instead went to twin peaks which is located around koh nangyuan, around 20 minutes with boat from bans diving. Because we completed all skills on the first dive we decided to go for a fun dive on the second dive. And guess what..... WHALESHARK!!! Only air and time restricted how long we could dive with the largest fish in the world. The whaleshark was with us for 30 minuntes + and was still swimming around the divesite when we decided to return to the divecenter. Amazing!!! I was just talking on the first dive with annika and stijn, two idc candidates, and they were asking me to show them a whaleshark on the second dive as a joke... hmmm this is what the koh tao idc group and bans diving is providing for its students he he!!! there will be updated pictures on www.idc-koh-tao.com within soon Jonas ::
