100% Passrate for all Ban's IDC Candidates!
Once again all The Koh Tao IDC Groups Candidates passed the instructor exam completed yesterday the 13th of November. Congratulations to Mich and Mickael (Sunshine Divers), Chelsea, Anna, Chris, Lior, Matt (Bans CDC), Dan, Helen (Big Blue). The PADI Examiner said yesterday that this was one of the most fun groups he ever worked with! Congratulations once again!!!

November 2008. Did you know that Platinum PADI Course Director Jonas Samuelsson is the only PADI Course Director on Koh Tao who received one of the highest individual PADI Awards "Outstanding Contribution to Instructor Development" (Jonas even received it both in 2000 (from PADI Asia Pacifics Regional Manager Rick Ray) and in 2007 (from PADI Asia Pacifics Regional Manager Hans Ullrich). This award is only given to a few PADI Course Directors every year worldwide. PADI Course Director is teaching IDCs every month for The Koh Tao IDC Group @ Ban's PADI 5-Star CDC, Career Development Center.

The PADI 5-Star Career Development Centre (CDC) is awarded to PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centres (IDC) that dedicate their businesses to professional development beyond regular instructor training. These businesses offer vocational oriented continuing education training to prepare individuals for dive industry careers and provide job placement services within the dive industry. PADI Members and the dive industry at large benefit from the PADI 5-Star Career Development Centres’ commitment to professional development and excellence, including their unique ability to provide qualified candidates to fill industry employment needs.

Of the more than 220 PADI Dive Centres in Thailand, eight have achieved the CDC rating. Ban's Diving got its CDC Rating awarded during 2006.
